Butterfly Flow

If you are in Taipei during the next three weeks I can highly recommend this exhibition. Tim Budden makes genre-busting art by cutting sheets of coloured silk into complex and multidimensional images. I reckon he's not only influenced by his sensory experiences here in Taiwan, but also by his previous experience as an 'art cartoonist' (in turn influenced by British printmaking) and of the British landscape.
